Biography

Marion Vinot's life has taken her from Paris, Mexico City, University of Texas, New York City, St. Barthelemy French, West Indies and finally to the Catskills. All of these locales have put their mark on her atypical art. She creates from images in her mind, letting the painting evolve without planning. Her free whimsical style melds the forms and colors born of the tastes and humors of the moment. Nothing is static in her vivid oil paintings and oil pastels. Her work has appeared in collector's homes in both "Metropolitan Home" and "Elle Décor."
