Born in South Africa, Luke Baggott has been painting full time since 2014. In 2017, he travelled to NYC to study Fine Art at the New York Academy of Art. Luke has always had a love for painting the landscape and en plein air work has always played a significant role in his painting repertoire. These pieces represent the first few attempts at encapsulating various subjects during changing light conditions in the rural New York landscape while on a painting retreat with his peers.
